She is Associate professor in Economics, University of Padova. She obtained an M.A. in Economics and a Ph.D in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence. Her research interests focus on the regulatory design of sectors and contracts, and on the design of incentives in public procurement contracts. She managed a number of national projects on Procurement and Regulation of Public Utilities, funded by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR). She acted as an official expert for the Italian Ministry of Environmental Policy, the World Bank, the Italian Authority for Electricity and Gas, among others. She has published on the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Regulatory Economics, The B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy, and the Journal of Industry, Competition and Trade, among others.
