Associate Professor of Operations and Quality Management at the University of Rome ‘Tor Vergata’ since 2001, Faculty Member of MIP Politecnico of Milano and of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), and was Faculty Associate of Georgetown University (Washington D.C.). He is Director of Tor Vergata Six Sigma Academy, Chairman of the scientific committee of the Italian Association on Safety Culture (ASICUS), member of the international committee of the European Excellence Award, and was Chairman of the European Universities Network for Total Quality Management. His main areas of interest are: sustainable excellence, operations management, lean thinking, quality management, project management, procurement and SCM, service science, health and safety. In these areas he advices several private and public organisations and he has been responsible for several research projects.
